As part of the campaign’s “Advancing Housing Policy in Phoenix” tour, Councilwoman Ansari will release housing policy plan and tour affordable housing in AZ-03

PHOENIX, AZ— On February 19th, Councilwoman Yassamin Ansari will be joined by housing advocates to release her federal housing policy plan and tour multiple affordable housing properties in Arizona’s Third Congressional District. The tour will start at Harmony at the Park II, head to a property in development on Washington St, and end at Salt River Flats.

It’s hard to put my feelings into words. I’m elated, of course — but more than that, I’m honored, I’m inspired, and I’m deeply grateful.

This historic victory belongs to all of us. It belongs to everyone in our Phoenix and Glendale community who believed in a progressive future and went to work for it.

This victory is the product of more than 165,000 doors knocked in the pouring rain and the blistering heat. It’s the result of over 25,000 phone calls, and nearly $2 million contributed by folks from every walk of life.

We won this primary election without a dime of corporate PAC money. We ran a campaign on progressive policies and real results. And we’re just getting started.

Now, we turn our attention to November. Turning out the vote here in Maricopa County is on the critical path to victory — and we’ve got our work cut out. Can I count on you to join us in this next chapter?
